For those of you who don’t know Bonnie, she is just the sweetest, most talented artist that you could imagine. Not only are her paintings jaw dropping, she has a beautiful soul that comes through with every brush stroke.

In case you couldn’t tell, I have a bit of a girl crush. I wish I had just an ounce of her talent.

Bonnie is famous for her paintings of cows and country life and now she has broadened her scope and added verses and poems to her art. Unique, beautiful and inspirational, Just like the artist who makes them.

  1. Oh, it’s so hard to choose….her work is so great! I guess if I had to pick one, it would be “Seasons Pickins”…maybe because I’m wishing it was spring already!

  2. Thanks for highlighting Bonnie, her paintings bring with them so much joy. My favorite one of hers is Mother’s in Waiting.

  3. Tara Daniels says:

Favorite Bonnie picture….”Attitude is Everything”! Reminds me of one of my cows! πŸ™‚

  4. farmgirl1313 says:

I love Bonnie mohr’s work! I hope to save enough one day to afford a real painting not just a print. I currently own about 6 prints now! My favorite would be autumns gold! The red cow in the picture looks a lot like my red cow “dee” who just passed away. It reminds me of her!

  5. i love everything she does, but “attitude is everything” speaks to me

  6. tjkreye says:

By far in my opinion, Foster Mother’s of the Human Race.

  7. I Love Bonnie’s paintings!!! My “favorite” of my favorites is “Attitude is Everything”. Every dairy farm has an “attitude” girl!! πŸ™‚

  8. Autumn’s Gold. I love my Guernseys! πŸ™‚

  9. My favorite Bonnie Mohr print is “Big Dreams” because I have always loved to show cows since I have been a little girl and my “Big Dream” one day is to walk in the spotlight at World Dairy Expo during the Supreme pageant of the most elite dairy cows!

  10. Tammy Riemer says:

I have always admired Bonnie Mohr and her work. It’s hard to pick just 1 of her works, but “Pride ‘N Joy” is one of my favorites of a Mother and her baby.

  11. Caryn Sager says:

Born a Beauty…my newest Bonnie Mohr favorite!

  12. Angel Twins …My Father was so proud that our family milked Holsteins here on Spruce Lawn farm for over 100 years. The day after his funeral in 2008, one of his 3 remaining cows gave birth to twins in the pasture next to our house. A true sign that Dad was OK.

  13. O Ive always lusted for a Bonnie Mohr. They are however definitely out of reality for me. My favorite is Big Dreams. Ive still got them, and have had them since the ripe old age of 5. I hope I never outgrow my love of working with and showing cows and that the little girl my husband and i are waiting to be born next March will share our enjoyment with us. There is something so simplistically beautiful but still complicated about the love of showing (even when you only win from the bottom the line).

  14. “Amazin’ Grazin'” Reminds me of my beautiful Pine Cone that I lost a year and a half ago. Peaceful and beautiful πŸ™‚

  15. My favorite print is Attitude is Everything! When I was an intern it was hanging in one of the offices I worked at. I loved in the second I saw it. It was something I could completely relate to when I used to show cattle. I also like the Black Beauties print.

  16. Tricia Hamre says:

I love FIRST CHRISTMAS. 1. Because its just darling and 2. This is my first christmas working with dairy cows! And I just LOVE my job!

  17. jenabet says:

My fav is “Attitude is Everything” for multiple reasons – we have a signed and numbered one, I love the cow’s expression, the hidden objects in it are fun, and its also a saying that we use quite often on the dairy!

  18. Foster Mothers of the Human Race is my favorite!! But they are all lovely πŸ™‚

  19. My favorite is The foster Mothers of the Human Race. When I look at the proud cows I am reminded how beautiful the cow is and how they humbly have taken care of me. When I look at them I am reminded of a lifetime of effort given…by her, by me.

  20. Under the Autumn Oaks – because it looks like our barn. Of course all the winter scenes take a close 2nd.

  21. April Dahl says:

I love Gather Together. I have sheep and it looks like my farm.

  22. It’s so hard to pick just one, but I like ‘The Beautiful Cow-no verse’. I grew up black and white, but now we have color splashed around us. ( Holstein, Milking Shorthorn, Swiss and Guernsey)

  23. She’s Got the Look is my favorite- I love my Jersey girls.

  24. A Place called Home, the dairy farm is where I’ve spent most of my life,as a child growing up until I married my farmer husband. We have spent most of our 32 married years working together on our dairy farm.So the the dairy farm is truly the place I call home.

  25. Ashley M-K says:

She’s got the look or mothers in waiting are my favorites πŸ™‚

  26. It is so difficult to choose one favorite. As a farmer, it is wonderful to have a talented artist depicted farm life — the artwork becomes a wonderful reflection on farm life and a pleasant addition to our home. First Christmas, Mother’s Love and Raisin’ Em Right are among my favorites. The snow on the ground is leading me to select First Christmas as my favorite today. πŸ™‚

  27. Julie Depies says:

Watchful Eyes is one of my favorites!

  28. Attitude is Everything. I couldn’t agree more with that sentiment, and boy does that painted girl resemble so many of our own ‘gals’ on our CT dairy farm.

  29. Love Bonnie Mohr! Reminds me of many of our cows!:)

  30. Betsy Wagner says:

Summer Pastures has always been my favorite, but if I was to get one for my office at work it would be Autumn Beauties or The Barnyard (I teach equine science)

  31. I love the “Face to Face” series – that’s why they’ll soon be hanging in my dining room! My next Bonnie Mohr will be “Attitude is Everything”. Or maybe the verse you posted – even if I don’t win it! Maybe for Mother’s day?

  32. So many Bonnie Mohr’s have been relevant at different times in my life, but now as the main caregiver of our farm’s calves, I have to say Pride ‘N Joy is the top pick; with First Christmas a close second. I have been greeted by that snowy scene so many frosty mornings!

  33. We are currently framing our 4th Bonnie Mohr print. Our favorite is the true type cow and bull. It is so beautifully made and makes us keep striving to make the perfect cow for our farm.

  34. Hard to pick just one… but I think I like First Christmas the best!

  35. Liz Remick says:

    I really like proud heritage.

  36. rhondadoom says:

I love Have Holsteins and Angel Twins, I have a few of her small prints but never have been able afford her larger ones, she is so awesome.

  38. Attitude is everything. We used to give prints to clients as a thank you at my old job and I always wanted one for myself! X

  39. “Cows of Content” has always been my favorite – so much that I have it as a wallpaper border as well. also it includes a couple of red Holsteins – our favorite!

  40. Angel twins is my favorite along with pen pals!!

  41. Attitude is Everything and Face to Face Summer

  42. Do I really have to pick just one? The classic Bonnie Mohr favorite of mine is Mothers in Waiting, but Angel Twins is my new favorite (as long as I can pretend they are heifer calves). πŸ™‚

  43. lindsaychichester says:

What beautiful art! My favorites are Golden Girl and Barny Ardigans.

  44. I’ve always loved the “Celebration of Cows” picture because WDE is my favorite time of year!

  45. Becky Gleich says:

Have Holsteins… eEven thogh we are Jersey farmers, All Dairyman have respect for teh power and beauty of all breeds and this cow just stands out!! Our vet’s used to have this piece hanging in their office, i always admired it!
