Feeding Beef Calves | Ag and STEM Video Learning Series

April 28, 2020 Leave a Comment

Ag and STEM Learning Video Series- Join Hyatt Frobose and Brandi Buzzard Frobose as they share about beef calf nutrition from their Kansas ranch,

Hyatt Frobose and Brandi Buzzard Frobose own and operate High Bar Cattle Company, a seedstock Gelbvieh and Balancer operation in southeast Kansas. They also both work full-time in the pork and beef industries, respectively. When they aren’t taking care of their own cattle or juggling the home-office life, they are globetrotting as much as they can with their daughter, Oakley. They are excited to be raising good stock in the bovine and toddler form!

You can follow Brandi online, click HERE for her blog and HERE for her Facebook page.

Discussion Questions-
Why is balanced nutrition important to beef cattle?

Is nutrition in cattle different than nutrition in people? If so, how?

What kind of ingredients are fed to cattle to reduce food waste?
