Peanut butter and chocolate banana bread

I apologize now if you are one of those people that hates the word moist… crap I did it again… Moving on! A not so secret dairy delicious ingredient makes this recipe one you’ll love because it’s super MOIST! (Unless you’re Hubs, who has informed me that he doesn’t like peanut butter, chocolate and bananas together. But what does he know anyways?) If you have a person lacking the ability to appreciate the awesomeness that is sweet and salty banana goodness in this recipe in your home, you can leave out the peanut butter and chocolate and still have a damn fine banana bread recipe. You can also consider kicking that person out of your life, I won’t judge you for it.

Ingredients for Banana Bread recipe with chocolate chips and peanut butter

I don’t have milk on the ingredient list but you’re going to want to make sure you have a gallon or two in the fridge. This tasty treat goes best with a tall glass of cold milk!

Banana, chocolate, PB and REAL milk also make a great smoothie.

I think you should serve this with a gigantic scoop or four of vanilla ice cream, but hey that’s just me. I’m also a bit saddened that there’s so little butter, maybe I could slather a slab of this bread with 2 tablespoons-ish of butter then top with ice cream. Yeah, as an ode to Dairy month I might need to do this sometime in June.

Oh, hi!

You know those people who wear foam cheese wedges on their head? I’m one of them. Cheesehead-hat-hair is the bane of my existence. I am a proud Wisconsin dairy farmer, a mom and a wife. I say things I shouldn’t say entirely too often. Good cheese and beer are my love language. When I die I hope to have pre-written one of those funny obituaries that goes viral.
